I am a student of bees and they continue to teach me how to work for them.

In 2011, Stanley Hauck became addicted to insect life. Over the years of watching, studying, and doing some experiments with location, habitat, and chemicals; he made the decision to go chemical-free and become a natural beekeeper.

Over the years, Stanley built his own equipment and began breeding Queens to raise bees that can survive with little interference by humans. Building his stock and improving genetics has given him the opportunity to introduce wild genetics into his operation.

The League hosts Community Conversation in concert with other county partners, to produce informational presentations on topics of general interest. Conversations are held on the 4th Thursday of the month, 5:30 PM, at Wesley Methodist Church, 14 N 48th Avenue, Yakima, and are free and open to the public.
