Join us for El Grito!

El Grito is an important national holiday for the people of Mexico, much like America’s 4th of July. It is celebrated on September 15 to commemorate the start of the Mexican War for Independence.

Fun for the whole family!

  • Loteria
  • Kids crafts and games
  • Food and beverages
  • Cultural performances
  • Community resource fair

This is a community-wide celebration, celebrating . Nonprofit organizations and social service agencies are invited to participate in the community resource fair. Businesses selling food, beverages, arts and crafts and other merchandise are invited to be vendors as the event. Our expected attendance is approximately 500 people, based on previous year’s attendance.

The League of Women Voters will have a table at El Grito.

– pick up materials about voting
