The Voter Services Committee strives to provide resources that empower and encourage Yakima County voters to utilize their right to vote.
Resources include:
- Conducting candidate forums prior to local, statewide and national elections.
- Registering voters at community events
- Providing educational materials to schools and at community events
- Conducting ballot parties, helping voters navigate their ballots
We meet monthly, usually at noon, to discuss current voting issues, develop our resources and plan our events. We welcome persons to the meeting that may interested in learning more or supporting the voter services efforts of the League of Women Voters of Yakima County.
