Dear Members,
I would like to share my thoughts on the importance of volunteering in our valley. There are so many citizens in our community that are seeking information and resources. As the League of Women Voters, we remain nonpartisan and are proactive in providing voting registrations opportunities to our
neighborhoods in the Yakima County Area.
The other part that needs to happen is getting people educated, engaged, and informed about resources that are available. I do not take these things lightly and feel that our citizens are looking for resources. The tabling events are a great way to reach out to the people in their communities and help register them to vote. The time to volunteer would be now.
I cannot express how important and valuable you are as a member of the League of Women Voters. Please support our and your causes by volunteering today. The communities need us.
