Protecting Climate and Migrants

Saturday, April 19, 3:00 PM  Millenium Plaza 350 Climate Action Yakima and Between the Ridges/Alliance For The Common Good are organizing a march focused on Protecting Climate and Migrants. At 3 PM, participants will gather at the Millenium Plaza and then march to Performance Park just south of the courthouse. Speakers are planned for both the beginning at the Plaza and the end at Performance Park.

WE LOVE DEMOCRACY! Yakima Fights Back

Saturday, April 5, 2025 12:00 - 2:00 PM A group of concerned Yakima residents has elected to join the upcoming National Day of Action on 4/5/25. A coalition of national groups including faith groups, unions, the League of Women Voters, Indivisible, The Women’s March,  Common Cause, and the Human Rights Campaign (to name just a few) are coordinating the day. There are over 600 events planned nationwide, including one in Yakima. This is a peaceful, family friendly nonpartisan protest.
